Pork chops with caramelized apricots and sage
Honey isn't just for sweetening tea, it also has an important place in the preparation of various kinds of dishes. Honey adds a distinctive flavor to food and creates a nice crispy crust on meat.
Ingredients:
- 4 pork chops about 2-3 cm thick
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 8 sage leaves
- crushed colorful pepper
- salt
- 12 apricots
- 2 tablespoons of Medokomerc honey
- juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons of apricot brandy or other brandy

Lightly pound the chops, salt them, sprinkle with crushed pepper, brush with oil, coat with sage leaves and let them sit for a while.

Add honey to a pan, let it melt, add butter, lemon juice and sprinkle with apricots, briefly sauté them, pour in apricot brandy, let it bubble and remove from heat.
