What didn't you know about honey and bees?
Honey is one of the greatest gifts of nature. We all put it in our tea when we have a cold. However, did you know that it also serves for beautification?
Thank God for beekeeping enthusiasts, thanks to whom we have delicious honey at hand. And so versatile too. Besides tea, you can sweeten your life with a honey massage, bath, and even use it for a hair wrap! But honey can do so much more.
CZECH HONEY
If you prefer honey from Czech beekeepers, reach for our premium honeys labeled CZECH HONEY. You can choose from four types – flower meadow, flower forest, honeydew spruce, and creamed. Did you know that diligent Czech bees fly over 23 km/h when collecting it and flap their wings 180 times per second?
MEADOW HONEY
Meadow Honey, which bees collected in meadows full of fragrant flowers, is also excellent. And they worked hard at it. To collect 0.5 kg of honey, about 556 bees work their entire lives. That lasts only 6 weeks. Workers fly more than 57,000 km while collecting, which is quite a chore!
FOREST HONEY
Forest Honey is a mixture of honeydew and meadow honey, so it has the best of both. Flower honey is appreciated by young and active people because its main component is simple sugars, which provide the body with readily available energy when energy is expended. Honeydew honey is great for older people, as it supplies the body with minerals that are found in increased amounts in honeydew honey.
LINDEN HONEY
Linden honey serves as a medicine for colds and rhinitis. It contains essential oils that speed up healing and relieve mucous membranes. But did you know that it can also be used as an antibiotic compress on open wounds? Thanks to its composition, it kills all microbes!
