Rump steak with honey crust
Grilling season is in full swing, and what better way to honor family or guests than with a proper beef steak? We have a recipe for rump steak with a honey crust for you! Ingredients for two people are listed below, multiply if you have more people.
Ingredients:
- 500 g rump steak
- 50 g olive oil
- 100 g forest honey Medokomerc
- 3 tablespoons ground nuts
- 1 teaspoon crushed chili spice
- juice of ½ lime
- zest of 1 lime
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon coriander
- salt and pepper
Instructions:
Mix all the necessary ingredients for the marinade. Then coat the meat with the prepared mixture on all sides. Ideally, let it marinate in the refrigerator for two to three hours. Feel free to leave the meat marinated overnight, it will have time to absorb and combine all the flavors. Sear the meat quickly in a pan, about a minute and a half on each side. But it depends on the size of the steak, the inside should remain pink and juicy. You can serve the finished steak with, for example, roasted vegetables, potatoes or a salad.
